臓器移植の順番に関しての記事です。

臓器移植の順番を提供者の地元の移植センターに優先的に提供してきたが、
その順番の決定は病気の重い人を最初にするかどうかの議論です。


Patients anxiously awaiting organ transplants are finding that the transplant 
system is different today than it used to be. Donor centers traditionally have
offered organs to local transplant centers first. Health and Human Services   
Secretary Donna Shalala has ordered the system changed so that decisions are  
made on the basis of the "sickest people first." But many within the system, 
including top officials, are resisting the change.
