されていました。Tide は、潮だし　Wave は波だから、なるほどなぁと納得。

SOUTH -  HEAVY RAIN FINALLY EXITS:                                             
The heavy showers and thunderstorms that have soaked the South the past several
days will finally move out Friday with some scattered, lighter showers         
lingering over parts of the Southeast. High temperatures Friday will be in the 
60s, 70s and 80s over most of the South with some 90s over western Texas.

WEST -  WARMING UP EVEN MORE:                                                  
Another warm, pleasant day is expected with temperatures nudging a few degrees 
higher than on Tuesday. Readings in the 80s are expected to reach into         
Washington and Oregon. Highs in the 80s and 90s will become more plentiful in  
the Southwest. The central Rockies should warm up a few degrees in Wednesday as

MIDWEST -  CHILLY, RAINY POCKET PERSISTS:

temperatures will persist in the central Plains. Highs in the 50s will keep    
most of Kansas and parts of Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri cool.

MIDWEST -  WARMING UP IN THE NORTH:                                            
Daytime temperatures across the northern Plains on Tuesday will climb above 70

The chilliest temperatures on Tuesday will be in the west- central Plains where
clouds and rain remain in the forecast.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely from Texas to Georgia on Tuesday. Some of

might become heavy by midday. Storms are possible in these same areas. A few  
thundershowers are possible in western Texas as well. Most of the South can   
expect highs in the 60s and 70s, with highs in the 80s in Florida and in      
southern Texas and in the 40s and 50s in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles.

over parts of the mid-Mississippi Valley.

Showers and thunderstorms will rumble east into the Southeast Thursday with

The southern Plains and western Gulf Coast will enjoy a dry day. High          
temperatures Thursday will be in the 60s, 70s and 80s throughout the South.

WEST -  MILD WEST, COOL EAST:                                                  
Pleasant weather conditions are forecast for the West Coast states Tuesday.    
Highs will be in the 70s and 80s from Washington to the Southwest. A few of the
desert areas in the Southwest can expect highs in the 90s. Rain and a few      
thunderstorms are possible in the southern Rockies. Chilly temperatures in the 
40s and 50s will remain over the central Rockies under a lot of clouds         
                                                                               
EAST -  DRIER, SLIGHTLY MILDER:                                               
Most of the East will be dry on Tuesday. Morning showers in Maine should taper
off and some sun might appear by the afternoon. Except for northern New       
England, most of the East will be a bit milder on Tuesday with highs in the   
60s. Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and northern New York can expect highs in  
the 50s.
