検問を行い、８８人の容疑者を逮捕したそうだ。
この大会でも、サッカーくじが多くの人を呼び寄せるらしい。

EUROPEAN POLICE NAB 88 ISLAMIC MILITANTS:
PARIS - Police in five European countries, most notably France,
rounded up and arrested 88 suspected Islamic militants Tuesday,
saying they had evidence of a terrorist campaign timed to this
summer's World Cup soccer championship.
Rads were carried out in France, Belgium, Italy, Germany and
Switzerland to snare the suspected activists for questioning.
French police are on high alert just two weeks before the June 10
opening of the World Cup - a soccer bonanza expected to draw
hundreds of thousands of fans. Police have not announced any charges
against any of those arrested.
