History and Activities

Japan Tradelink, Ltd. (JTL) was established in January, 1996 shortly after Kiminori Kobayashi had retired from Nissho Iwai Corp., one of the leading Trading Companies in Japan and identified an opportunity to assist Japanese small and medium sized company in sourcing various products from overseas.

Since that time JTL has operated as a specialist consulting company developing supply sources of foods and general merchandises in international supply places for domestic clients. At the same time JTL has provided overseas manufacturers and exporters with consultation to create marketing activities in Japan.

JTL now acts as a consultant for domestic clients who are not familiar with International trading business.

JTL has continued to diversify its products and services. Recently JTL is acting as an export unit for Japanese manufacturers that have traditionally concentrated in local Japanese market.
