NHK 総合テレビで４月１１日の夜、特集で語学の修得法を放映していた。

　特に、英語の発音では興味深かった。
　なぜなら、私の　water の発音は長い間、アメリカでは通じなかったから・・・
　この番組では、「ウオーラー」と発音すればよいと云っていた。
　今度やってみよう・・・っと。

　要するに、母音と母音の間の "T"　は　"L"　の発音が通じるらしい。
　
　そうそう、横田　を　yokoda、トヨタ　を　toyoda と云うものね。

 The Indonesian government Wednesday announced its third attempt in six months
 to  salvage an international bailout package that is essential to alleviating
 its worst economic crash in decades. The latest effort to restart the
 $43 billion agreement between Indonesia and the International Monetary Fund
 was arrived at only after major concessions on both sides.
 Indonesia agreed to disband some monopolies, while international lenders agreed to let
 Indonesia retain subsides in several industries.
